Need some help with singing a song?

Boliyan Book understands that the wedding season is a busy one, so we have compiled a collection of sound clips for some of the songs in Boliyan Book. This gives you the opportunity to hear the song, familiarise yourself with the melody, enabling you to sing the song again and again to your hearts content.

Handy dholki beat to take with you everywhere

Sometimes the same song varies from singer to singer, so if you find that the order of the lyrics within the song clips are different to Boliyan Book, just remember to keep it simple - use the melody as a guide, and the lyrics in Boliyan Book as your song sheet. Where possible we have given multiple versions of each song in the list below.

Any song that is not listed below, you can learn easily by asking others, e.g. our elders, it's all about rediscovering our culture.
